HFO Workshop details

Focus on HFO in intracranial Epilepsy

A full day of lectures and a hands-on workshop dedicated to detecting epileptic biomarkers such as HFO (ripples and fast-ripples) as part of the MicMac workshop conference.

Attendees will gain skills in identifying HFO more effectively and exploring its new features on their personal laptops. We expect there will be ample time for discussions of both technical issues and clinical applications.

Requirements

To ensure the workshop runs as smoothly as possible, we kindly request all participants to download, install, and test the Halizya software, as well as download the workshop dataset onto their laptops before attending. A dedicated email will be sent about a week before to all participants.

Workshop dataset

In this workshop, we will analyze an SEEG dataset that includes recordings from macrocontacts and tetrodes, obtained in pharmacoresistant epileptic patients from the Brain Electrophysiology, Epilepsy, and Sleep Unit at Toulouse University Hospital.

The dataset primarily comprises selected raw recordings from sleep and wake states. It is organized as follows:

  • Raw SEEG recordings located in the file.
  • Snapshots of co-registered MRI/CT scans for electrode localization
  • A PDF file summarizing the clinical data.

You can bring your own data that you will be able to analyse during the last session. The accepted formats are .trc, .edf, .ncs, .med, .ns5.
